Hi does any one have the new wave oven what is the pros of it. Also do any of you no what the it is called whare only the serfice of whare the pans are heated up is called.
I have no idea what the second half of your question was supposed to mean, but I used to have a wave oven and was very satisfied with it. I t died one day, however, approximately two and a half years afer I got it. I got a lot of use out of it, though.
I have a new convection oven that I'm even more satisfied with now, but the wave served me well for what it was.
What is being refered too in the second part of the post is the induction cooktop. They use magnetic interaction to warm the pan, not the cooking surface. This has interested me, but it does have it's drawbacks in the sense you must use iron or another magnetic pan for it to work.
I just got a cooktop and I really like it!!! The only thing that must be mentioned is that the pan must be magnetic (as mentioned already). The only thing I don't really like is that I can only do one thing at a time...but it's great for things that you'll only need one pot and it keeps the temperature right on.
